Jalapeno Cheddar loaf! I’m working on the lamination technique to get the inclusions spread about a bit more evenly.
I caught this little stinker nomming a piece of bacon. He’s not very good at lying yet, so when he gets caught he tends to go silent.
Grandma read the littles a book before bed. They love their book time!
In other news, today was quite a busy project day. Yesterday, if you saw the post, was pretty droll. It was mostly a recovery day for us. The morning volleyball practices and later nights tends to wear on you, and the heat doesn’t help.
Today was a bit later start, which was nice. Meagan and I still didn’t want to do much, but I reached down into my well of spite and got some stuff done.
We rotated Evan’s bed around and re-arranged the furniture in his room. That took a but of doing, especially with managing his fish tank. Then, it was time to take down Jarek’s loft bed so he can assemble his new loft bed.
I also re-hung a curtain in our bedroom between it and the bathroom. I had hung it up when we first moved back in, replacing the bifold door, but the door was slatted and let light in. I replaced it with a blackout curtain, and the littles promptly ripped it down. Now that we are past that phase, I dared to put it back up.
I also got the laundry done and a little work on a couple of my tech projects that I’m using AI to do.
All the tools and parts that I ordered to complete (I hope!) the next phase of the electrical came in, so tomorrow I will press forward on getting the cable ran to the box!
