The loaves from yesterday’s post all done! I have two basic sourdough loaves, one jalapeno cheddar, and a sourdough rye loaf.

Of course, easy days are not to be had. I was in the process of warming up our second batch of dinner leftovers when the microwave cut out. I went and checked the breaker, and it was popped. I reset the breaker, and the microwave did not come back on. I inspected the cord, above the unit where the vent is, and it was quite warm. I didn’t quite smell any magic smoke, but at this point, I figured it was dead and wasn’t taking any chances. I unplugged the unit and left it out overnight and placed an order for pick up the next morning for a new microwave.
