Checking on the crumb of my jalapeno cheddar loaf. I see that the inclusions were all grouped toward one end, which looks to me to be an artifact of my shaping process. So, I will adjust that the next time!.
Everyone pitched in on the Happy Birthday Jarek! banner; even Randal got into the act coloring outside the lines!
Rain was forecast for much of the day. The does were grateful for their shelter. Queen Saryia eventually made room for the rest of the goats to get out of the rain.
Arya works on her chocolate cake. Jarek likes a strawberry cake, but Arya takes after her mother and prefers chocolate!
Frosting in progress, the molten volcano cake takes shape!
Randal can’t wait for the candles! He is our serial early blower-outer!
