Today was largely a recovery day for Jarek. He was in the throws of the cold, and skipped swimming. Evan was off to Soccer practice instead of swimming for a three hour camp. Arya came back from swimming, then headed out to a Grandma day with Grandma!

I cut open my rosemary loaf this morning, and it came out quite well. My harshest critic, Meagan, who told me she didn’t like rosemary in bread, said that she did, in fact like it! Highest complement indeed!
The ducks nibbling always gets me. It seems so funny and odd how they attack the water.

Evan with his pals at soccer camp!
Collecting the eggs is a big deal for Randal. He came to me several times throughout the day asking to do it. Finally, it was time!

The baby goats were playing in their tub when I came by to check on them today.
In other news, I made good progress on my little bookkeeping project. I’ve refined the Gnucash formatting tool a bit more, and it’s working wonderfully.
As I type this up, I here little peeps coming from the incubator, which means hopefully tomorrow we will have new goslings! This batch of eggs I did differently, severely limiting the humidity they were exposed to. It is my hope that this will result in a higher hatch rate than the 10-12% I experienced in the last few batches.
